Meet the Trustees at Gloucestershire Deaf Association

All GDA Trustees are D/deaf or hard of hearing themselves, or have a close connection with a D/deaf person

GDA Chair

CHRISTIAN AVERISS

Chris Averiss joined the GDA Board in 2006 and was elected Chair in 2008. He has a profoundly deaf son and says he was drawn to the work of the charity, having seen the benefits derived by his son in attending our deaf kids club, GDKZ. Chris has experience of running a successful small business; he is also part way through a Law degree.
